Child Safety & Child Policy — Bujji

Child Safety & Child Policy

Overview

At Bujji, we are committed to ensuring the safety and protection of children. In compliance with Google Play’s Child Safety Standards, we have adopted policies and mechanisms to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), address child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and provide safe reporting and intervention approaches.

1. Published Standards Against CSAE / CSAM

We maintain a publicly accessible standard document (this page) that outlines how we handle child safety issues including CSAE and CSAM. These standards are relevant to Bujji and describe our commitments and protocols.

2. In-App Reporting & Feedback Mechanism

Users can report content, accounts, or interactions they believe violate child safety standards directly from within the Bujji app. This includes reporting suspicious behavior or content involving minors. We ensure that the reporting mechanism is easily accessible and usable without leaving the app.

3. Removing or Blocking CSAM

If any content is confirmed to be child sexual abuse material (CSAM), we will take prompt and decisive action in accordance with our standards and legal obligations. This includes:

  • Immediate removal or blocking of the content.

  • Suspension, termination, or banning of any accounts responsible.

  • Cooperating with law enforcement as required by applicable laws.

4. Age Restrictions & Verification

Bujji is designed only for users aged 18 years and above. We do **not** allow users under 18 to register, create accounts, or use the app. We employ age-gating and periodic reviews to enforce this restriction.

5. Data Collection from Minors

We do not knowingly collect or store personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If we discover that data from a minor has been collected inadvertently, we will remove it immediately from our systems.

6. Point of Contact for Child Safety

For issues related to child safety, CSAE, or CSAM, we designate a specific contact who can be reached for inquiries or investigations. Below are the contact details:

7. Compliance with Laws & Cooperation

We comply with all applicable child protection and data privacy laws. Where required, we cooperate with law enforcement agencies, child protection organizations, and other relevant authorities to investigate and address concerns involving minors.

8. Updates to this Policy

We may update this Child Safety & Policy page as needed to improve clarity, reflect changes in law, or strengthen our safety practices. The latest version will always be publicly accessible and linked from within the app.
